Independently tested and validated primarily at STRESS Engineering in Houston Texas, the Stealth-Lock specimen joints are subjected to simulation and destructive testing compliant to ISO 21329 for mechanical connectors. The Stealth-Lock performance and results are outstanding in some cases, surpassing the values of welding.
RESONANT BENDING FATIGUE TESTING, IN-SERVICE SIMULATION TESTS
Independently tested and validated primarily at STRESS Engineering in Houston Texas, the Stealth-Lock specimen joints are subjected to high-speed fatigue testing of full-scale pipe specimens to verify the fatigue resistance capabilities of the Stealth-Lock MIF joints during in-service operating conditions.
MATERIAL & CORROSION INCLUDING - TENSILE & HARDNESS, SSC & EIS TESTS
EIS tests were to validate the claim that Stealth-Lock MIF does not affect the compliant integrity of the FBE ID pipe coating. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) has been proven to be a powerful quantitatively and non-destructive technique in the understanding and characterization of protective coatings.
